Considering a clinical case
Dr. Patrícia Santos completed her integrated master’s in medicine in 2017 at Nova Medical School. In 2015 she completed 5 months as a medical trainee in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Strasbourg, in France, and in 2016 she completed two months as a trainee in surgery and transplantation at the Semmelweis University in Budapest. In 2016 she also participated in a volunteering project during 8 weeks in Mozambique, an initiative of Nova Medical School in partnership with the ONGD Helpo.
In 2018, Dr. Patrícia began her profissional work and medical intern, in Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Lisboa Central. In 2019 she integrated the internship in Anesthesiology, in the same institution. In complement to her work as an active medical doctor, she is also an assistant professor of the course of Phisiopatology of the Nova School of Science and Technology given to Biomedical Engineering Students, and also to the same course in the Nova Medical School, given to Medical Students.
